Fundraiser
Carnival
On the twenty first of September, 2018 we had our fundraiser. We sold tickets to our fellow classmates to attend a carnival in our school gym and all proceeds would go to the Alvin Dubin resource center. At lunch for a week, we sold 5$ tickets offering not only a fun time but a dress out day. Some of the games included a life size connect four, memory games, and giant jenga, etc. We also provided a Photo Booth and some complimentary popcorn. We had an amazing turnout of around half our student body, raising a total of 1000 dollars.
Why we chose Alzheimers
My partner and I both wanted to choose a topic that was serious, yet overlooked. As powerful as it may be, a lot of teenagers don't know its extent. But we do because we both have family members that have or are being affected right now; my grandfather and mother, and Stephanie's great grandmother.

Bracelets
To add another aspect to our project, we sold bracelets alongside our tickets. The pura vida company itself donatesa percentage of your purchase to a designated foundation. Thus, adding to our profit while also donating even more to our cause.
