OUR GOAL
$1000
One of our goals was to raise $1000 dollars to donate to the Alvin A. Dubin Resource Center. With our profits from selling bracelets and tickets to our carnival we reached our goal. We are very grateful to everyone who helped and attended our carnival; especially to the families who donated out of the goodness of their hearts. We are also grateful to have made a difference, no matter how small.
awareness
Our second goal was to bring Alzheimer's to our fellow students' attentions. We believe that we achieved this goal by reminding them that the disease is evident not only in our lives, but in many around the globe.
school
Our third goal was of course school. We were assigned the task of benefitting our community and making a multi media project. In assisting a local resource center, bringing awareness to our fellow classmates, and hosting a carnival; I believe that stephanie and I succeeded. At first people were worried that our topic would not pertain to teens, and how we would entice them was a worry. But, with hard work and some "campaigning" we reached all three of our goals.
